Corporate and Editorial Filmmaking

Interview-led films for businesses, broadcasters and organisations across France and Europe.

WORK

NEWS & CULTURE

Editorial filming for broadcasters and media organisations, combining interviews, observational footage and a strong sense of place. This report for Euronews explores The Infinite Woman, curated by Alona Pardo at Villa Carmignac on the island of Porquerolles.

CORPORATE & INDUSTRY

Clear, carefully structured films that help organisations present their work, facilities and expertise. Produced for Daikin Chemical France, this film introduces its new pre-compound facility at the company’s Pierre-Bénite site.

INTERVIEWS & TESTIMONIALS

Interview-led films that turn real client experiences into clear and credible stories. This testimonial for iLOQ explores how the Bresse Dombes Saône water syndicate uses digital locking to secure and manage access across its water infrastructure.

I’m Joseph Allen, a British videographer and former broadcast journalist based near Lyon. I film corporate stories, interviews, and news and culture assignments across France and Europe.

My background in journalism shapes how I approach production: understanding the subject, asking the right questions and identifying what the audience genuinely needs to know. I work in both English and French, from initial planning through to filming and post-production.

My Expertise

I focus on creating a comfortable environment and capturing clear, natural contributions that communicate with credibility.

I specialise in filming interviews and client testimonials with a calm, considered approach.
